                <head>Commentary</head>
                <p>We take <foreign xml:lang="grc">ἱαρο͂ν</foreign> to be a genitive neuter plural. As shown in <ref type="inscription">IGCyr016700</ref>, line 58, the properties of a <foreign xml:lang="grc">δεκατός</foreign> are common property of him
                    and the god. It is thus conceivable that they deserve the word <foreign xml:lang="grc">ἱαρός</foreign> as long as the
                    tithe has not been consecrated. This gives a better reading than the neuter singular <foreign xml:lang="grc">ἱαρόν</foreign>, proposed by 
                    Pugliese Carratelli and hitherto accepted, which might however be possible if both words were independant nominal sentences.</p>
