                <head>Commentary</head>
                <p>As suggested by Reynolds, the name of Kore would have stood at line 2 and most presumably in the dative case, as shown by many other inscriptions
                in the same context. It is impossible to decide whether the base was also dedicated to Demeter, but this remains quite plausible, owing to the very small
                width of the fragment compared with the usual dimensions of a base.</p>
	           <p>Having no image to check, we follow J. Reynolds for the suggested date.</p>
