 Scratched under foot (diameter 0.115), probably to be read from centre. 0.01; symmetrical nu. Findspot. Last quarter of fifth century B.C.

Found in 1968 at Cyrene: agora, under West Stoa.

Observed by R. Leone between 1997 and 2005 in

Shahat: Storeroom of the Italian missions.

Commentary

Due to the date of the ceramics and the shape of letter nu, a right-to-left reading seems less plausible than the left-to-right one, which we choose to edit. However this remains an undecided question for trademark of type 15B at , pp. 104, 198 and , pp. 84-85 .
