<p>Reynolds preferred the restoration of the epithet <foreign xml:lang="grc">Θεσμοφόρος</foreign>, hitherto not attested in Cyrenaica, rather than
the mention <foreign xml:lang="grc">θεά</foreign>, which she also thought to be without parallel. In fact the latter is now known on the statue-base of
the nearby temple (see <ref type="inscription">IGCyr114800</ref>). If so, there would be space also for Kore's name but the whole formula seems somewhat
awkward and it seems preferable to leave the question open.</p>
<p>Most dedications in this sanctuary were made by women, however some men also offered dedications. It is thus impossible to restore the name at line 2.</p>
