Small fragment of lower righthand corner of a base of medium-grained white marble with badly damaged moulding above ( 0.27 0.18 0.20 ).

 Inscribed in one line below the moulding. 0.04; smaller omicron. Findspot. Perhaps second century B.C.

Found in 1978 during the American excavations at Cyrene: Enclosed sanctuary of Demeter and Kore, area F16, 2, 1.

There should have stood at left at least the name of the dedicator, either on the very base if it was wide enough or on an adjacent block.
