Commentary

Published from Oliverio papers, without dimensions.

From the drawing, it is possible to catch an oblique stroke pertaining to the last preserved letter, not transcribed by Pugliese Carratelli.

Without context, it is impossible to choose between the adjective πολύστροφος ('much-twisted; versatile; making many turns'), a personal name (Πολύστροφος, cf . Meritt-Traill, 1974 , p. 11, name of a counsellor, ca. 400/350) or a divine name or epithet (so Marengo, 1991 , p. 586).
