The lost part at left might have contained one more altar. But the inscription is clearly in relation with the preserved part of the niche and its abbreviated form is due to the reduced space available.
This is one amongst the series of altars dedicated to the Eumenides at Ain Hofra and also at other places outside the city walls of Cyrene.
