What subists of the first letter is part of a small loop high on the line; amongst the three letters suggested by Marengo, beta and rho provide no convincing restorations, whereas qoppa would fit a tantalizing restoration κύλιξ; however this word is more commonly occurring in contexts of banqueting and perhaps not appropriate for a dedication. C. Dobias-Lalou adds that a phi might also be read here, giving way to personal names built from φυλή.
