Part of a rectangular white marble block, broken off at left and probably cut at right for a re-use related to a shallow basin in the back; there is a dowel hole on the rear edge of the upper side (0.20; 0.165;0.095).

Layout

Inscribed on the face at 0.11 from the upper edge.

Commentary

From other monumental inscriptions, we can only very cautiously suggest either the ending of a personal name in -ων or of a participle with a meaning such as 'being priest' or 'accomplishing the telesphoria ', both at the nominative. As for the alpha, there are so many possibilities that they do not deserve to be mentioned.
