English translation

Philon laid down this (base) for his wife Archo as a record of her virtue  [---] .

Italian translation

Philon pose questa (base) per sua moglie Archò in memoria della sua virtù  [---] .

Commentary

The poetic word συνόμευνος is a super-compound based upon two compounds in literary texts: σύνευνος and ὅμευνος.

Metrical analysis: the poem was made of one hexameter at text-lines 1-2, followed probably by a pentameter (or another hexameter) now lost at text-lines 3-4.
