Commentary

At a.1 τόζε, supposed by Pugliese Carratelli to be a variant of τόδε does not match the dialect (see Dobias-Lalou, 2000 , pp. 55-58).

At a.2:Ἐριούνιος is known for Hermes but never for Zeus. That is Bevilacqua's main argument for neglecting the vertical stroke dividing the inscription and to read our lines a.1 and b.1 together. However, this vertical stroke is in exact correspondance with the limit between the left and the central compartments of the altar. That is why Dobias-Lalou proposed an abbreviation of Ἐρινύμενος, a supposed epithet of Zeus passed on with slight corruption into Hesychius' Ἐλινύμενος· Ζεὺς ἐν Κυρήνῃ, which has no etymology.
