Commentary
Boardman writes 'incised on the neck of one of the horses'. From his photograph, one would rather see the letters on the summit of the head.
The script is not surely Cyrenaean.
As for the meaning, Boardman takes over Jeffery's suggestion of a mix of ἴτε and ἴθι, an explanation to be taken cautiously, the more so that the first letter is partly lost, keeping only a short oblique stroke, compatible with other letters. We have no better solution to propose.
