[Un tel fils]d'Euangelidas (a consacré) à Apollon comme dîme. [Un tel] a exécuté.
[So and so son] of Euangelidas (dedicated) to Apollo as a tithe. Made by [so and so].
[Il tale figlio] di Euangelidas (ha dedicato) ad Apollo come decima. [Il tale] fece.
Oliverio dated the lettering in the fifth century, which seems too high.
As only eta and an ambiguous letter (lambda or my) are preserved at left of l. 3, it seems wise to restrain from restoring the sculptor's name, a fortiori to guess that it might be the Lemnian Alcamenes (a guess of Ferri, 1932 Ferri, S., 1932, Una firma di Alcamene a Cirene?, Historia: Studi storici per l'antichità classica6.2, 274-275 - see in bibliography , rejected by all commentators).
