Commentary

Although Μένανδρος is a more common form for this name, Μενέανδρος is very clear on the stone and should not be corrected, being consistent with the etymology.

The Thorns' attribution to the North Necropolis is based upon the fact that the Italian archaeologists worked only on that part before World War II.
