Light grey marble, plain base with two holes for feet of statue on upper side; apart from a neat mark of saw passing through the letters of line 9, the inscribed face is still complete, but for the right lower angle (0.625; 0.36;0.50).
Layout
Inscribed on the face with reduced margins, so that nearly the entire surface is covered by the inscription.

(The statue of) Philon son of Castor, archisomatophylax of the king and general was dedicated to Apollo by the Cyrenaeans on behalf of his virtue and well-doing towards king Ptolemy, queen Cleopatra, Gods Epiphaneis and their children, as well as towards the city of Cyrene.
(La statua di) Philon figlio di Kastor, archisomatophylax del re e stratego è stata consacrata ad Apollo dai Cirenei in considerazione del valore e della dedizione che ha mostrato nei confronti del re Tolemeo e della regina Cleopatra, Dèi Epifani, e dei loro figli, come pure nei confronti della città di Cirene.
