We have a list of personal names with fathers' names written successively by different hands. This practice is proven for eponymous priests of Apollo. Although the order was chronologically progressive, not every priests had the honour of being inscribed on such lists (see Marengo, 1996 Marengo, S.M., 1996, Per un’interpretazione delle liste sacerdotali di Cirene, in L. Bacchielli, M. Bonanno Aravantinos (eds.), Scritti di Antichità in memoria di Sandro Stucchi, I, Studi Miscellanei29, Roma, 219-226 - see in bibliography ).
The inscription on the broad side (a) shows both a more convenient layout and a somewhat older lettering and would have been inscribed first. Later on, lack of space induced to continue the list on the righthand side. On this side b, the list was interrupted where it reached the area already inscribed with IGCyr109200 and went on below it after the explicit subtitle ἱαρές.
Two men bearing the same names and fathers' names are mentioned as contributors in the long list dated about 280 B.C., namely Τιμαγένης Εὐκλεῦς (here side ii, ll. 27-28) at IGCyr065210, ii.88 and Ἰάσων Παραίβιος (here side ii, ll. 29-30) at IGCyr065210, i.144, whereas Φιλόξηνος Χαρτάδα (here ii, ll. 38-39) might be the son of Χαρτάδας Φιλοξένω, who is mentioned in the twin list IGCyr065200, b.5.
At line ii.16 Pugliese Carratelli's restoration [Πρ]άξιος might be attractive because a Praxis son of Theuchrestos is mentioned as commander of batallion of riders at IGCyr084000, l. 12, about 340 B.C. However the span of time between both mentions might be up to one century and both names are quite common at Cyrene. Moreover another frequent name which might be restored here is Anaxis. So we feel that the question should remain open.
Dobias-Lalou, 2016 Dobias-Lalou, C., 2016, Le toponyme Ptolemaion dans les inscriptions de Cyrène: un essai de clarification, Revue des Études Grecques (REG)129, 39-61 - see in bibliography argued that this list might belong to the same ensemble as IGCyr115000. Without a new study of the stones, this should remain hypothetical.
